ANNA WINTOUR

My name is …., I’m in terminal business profesionel, I’m seventeen and I talk about Anna Wintour, the editor in chief of American Vogue. On first I talk about the Anna Wintour job, the story and about the different movie and documentary about her.

Anna Wintour is the English editor-in-chief of American Vogue, she became artistic director for Condé Nast (Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, Glamour, W) She was born in England and now she lives in New-York. She is the daughter of Charles Wintour , former editor of the Evening Standard magazine

From the age of 14 years, she adopts her famous bobbed hairstyle: she will never change it. At the age of 16, she already gave advice to his father for magazine, and decided interrupt his studies. She interrupts even studies of fashion, as her parents had him grateful to follow, saying that «the fashion isn’t learnt».

In 1970, she made her debut in the world of fashion journalism when it comes to the British edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine. In 1975 she came to New York and joined the American edition of Harper’s Bazaar.

She returned in 1980, after a short pause, as fashion editor: first for a new women's magazine , Savyy , then the following year for New York magazine. Spotted by the publishing director of Condé Nast (VOGUE) decided to create a special position for her : the creative director at Vogue , she joined in 1983. For a time, she became director of House & Garden magazine in New York, she did not finally managed to turn things around. But ten months later, she won the position of editor- in-chief of American Vogue magazine.

The role of Meryl Streep in the film The Devil Wears Prada, adaptation of the book by Lauren Weisberger, his former assistant, also draws on his colorful character , known for his temperament, extremely demanding and terrible coldness. Anna Wintour herself for the first time in to herthe cameras with the documentary " The September Issue " , which is entirely devoted . In particular we learn that her daily life is punctuated by a schedule timed to the minute: woke up at 5:30, she attended daily tennis before moving to 8:00 offices of Vogue.

The Anna Wintour Costume Center is a wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art that houses the collection of the Costume Institute. The center is named after Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue and chair of the museum's annual Met Gala since 1995.

The center was opened by the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama on May 5, 2014. Many famous people, such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Von Furstenberg, Tory Burch, Zac Posen, Ralph Lauren, and Donatella Versace, were at the center's opening.
