J :Hello your royal Highness , thank you for coming to answer our questions about this incredible adventure to south pole, the Scott and Amundsen race. Your royal highness, why are you supporting this race ?

W : Scott and Amundsen race is amazing, a race in south pole during polar winter and without help.  I support this event because i think that the old race made by Scott and Amundsen in 1911 is a part of our history, it is a national duty to support this second and commemorate race.

J : You explain that it is a national duty, what is the importance of this race for the country ?

W : This race is important for 2 reasons. First, it is a part of our history, 1 century ago, Scott and Amundsen were the first explorers to discover the South pole, an uncharted territory. Unfortunately, this adventure had a tragic outcome for Scott, we must remember that and Secondly, these explorers are models, they are courageous and determined. They represent our contry. Like the soldiers who are going to do this second race.

J : What is your role in this race ?

W : I take care of the promotion. I represent the royal family and our country, it's a great honour. Indeed, it is very important to put the light on the South pole.

J : Why is it important to put the light on south pole ? What has changed since 1957, when your ancestor crossed the Antarctic circle ?

W : What as change ? Everything, with the climate change, the continent is different. The temperatures are rising, the level of oceans is a danger and animal species have disappeared. So, a lot of things have changed since 1957. But the atmosphere is identical, the South Pole is an exceptional place, so much in dispute with the rest of the world, to understand, you must have been there.  

J : What is the goal of this project ?

W : First it is to commemorate this incredible adventure, commemorate the explorers and more specially Scott and his team who are died during the race. And Today, it is to promote our army, our soldiers and collect money for wounded soldiers.
