There is a lot of inequality in the world and no countries has achieves gender equality and at the pace of current progress, it would take another 131 years to achieve the equality between men and women so we decided to work on it, here are some that unfortunately still exist in 2024:

-10% of the world’s head of states are women (U.N. Women-2024).

-In nearly one in two countries, equal pay for work of equal value between women and men is not prescribed by law (World Bank – 2024).

-The gender wage gap is 20% globally (International Labor Organization – 2022).

-1/3 of women in the world have already lived physical and/or sexual violence (WHO – 2021).

we will be more interested in this one:

-According to the Center for Reproductive Rights, 40% of women world wild live in countries with restrictive abortion laws.

The abortion on demand is legal in only 77 countries and it remains illegal or subjects to restrictive conditions in 112 others

That in these 77 countries there are some where doctors who do not want to abort a woman have the right to refuse which means that the woman must keep the baby against her will.

This means that if a woman does not feel ready to have a child, if she is raped and becomes pregnant or if she becomes pregnant because the man did not protect himself during intercourse, she should keep the child while a man can escape his responsibilities

Is it normal for you that these decisions are taken by men for women?

In the united states a woman who's 16 wants to adopt but we tell her she is too young while a woman who's 16 wants to abort we tells her no you will be mother, don’t you think it’s stupid?

we asked ourselves the question whether transgender men could abort in France and well this is the case:

-the opinion delivered by the Council of State on December 12th 2023 on a draft constitutional law relating to the freedom to resort to abortion, in which it specifies that the freedom to resort to abortion must be understood as guaranteed to “any person who as become pregnant, regardless of marital states” Trans-men who have become pregnant are therefore fully entitled to the constitutional right to an abortion in France. We don’t know in others countries because there is no article on this topic.

For us the solution is simple:

In each countries, a woman who has been elected by other women, should be at the center of all the decision about women such as abortion.

To remedy injustice we thought that setting up a vote for the right to abortion would be a pretty good solution. It would happen a bit like presidential elections, in each town there would be a polling station where only women who can get pregnant could vote. Given that they are the ones concerned by this law that affect their personnal life, their present and their future. We also think that putting a female politician to control the laws that concern women would be more appropriate.
