Characterization:

Apple Inc. specializes in the design, manufacture and marketing of computer hardware and music media.

Annual revenue was $394.3 billion, up 8% from a year ago. Oct 27, 2022

And Apple is growing internationally because it sells its products worldwide

Strengths:

Apple is a company that is very technologically advanced. Each year the new iPhone have a new technology or a technology already present but improved. This is an important advantage to face competitors.

Apple is a global icon because Apple is the most influential brand in the world. Apple offers luxury products at a fairly substantial price but this does not impact sales so it shows the power of Apple.

Weaknesses:

As before, the price of Apple products is a great weakness because not all customers have enough money to buy an iPhone or a MacBook which, as a reminder, these items can cost more than $1200.

Some software or applications are not compatible with Apple products or if you have an Apple product that is too old, certain applications will become incompatible.

Opportunities:

New technologies are created constantly which allows Apple to create new products from this new technology.

Apple will have to recruit very well qualified IT employees because these products are becoming more and more technical because of all the new functionality present in a single product.

Threats:

The environment where Apple is evolving continues to welcome new competitors. In recent years many new phone manufacturers have appeared such as VIVO or Wiko

Apple is the target of many counterfeits, especially in wireless headphones. In 2020, there were more than 1 million counterfeits on Apple products.
