Open the Meeting:

M: Good morning! Thank you for meeting with me today. How are you?

E: I’m fine thank you and you?

M: I’m good! So, as I mentioned, I’d like to spend the next 10 minutes discussing your performance review. First let’s talk about your thoughts on how the years has gone for you, then I can provide some feed-back. Finally, we are going to talk about future goals (objectives) of the company and set some follow up.

Employee self-feedback:

M: Tell me, what are the things you feel went particularly well? How do you feel in the company? Do you like, what are you doing?...

E: I like the atmosphere of the company. I appreciate my work partners. I enjoy my job. It is very interesting for me. I wanted this job since my Childhood.

M: (recap réponse employer) Ok so, you like that…

You feel good about… Was there anything that you would have changed or like to differently during the year? Have you got problems in your work or with your work –partner?

E:  First of all, I work with my husband in the same department. That is not good for my concentration in my work. I wish that he could move on another department. I heard many complaints about this by my colleagues. Consequently, I would like if it is possible for my husband. Me, I don’t want because as I said I feel me very good here. In addition, to my opinion this company has a good evolution on every point. However, some colleagues are not implicated in hundred %. Today, it is not a problem but it is going to be a big problem for the future

M: You were frustrated by…

Occasionally fails to adhere to guidelines, indecisive (make no decisions), mediocre, difficulty in mastering (to learn it very well) the new procedures, inconsistent (does not always finish their work on time) in meeting deadlines, lacks (manque) the ability to prioritize projects appropriately…
