«  Hello everybody, I'm here today to introduce you immigrants who come from different countries.They are going to present themselves and their situation.

So let's move on to the presentation :

F: -Hi ! My name is Koffi. I'm from Eritrea in the East of Africa. I've been living in the USA for two years.

J: -I'm Dimitrov and I'm from Serbia .I arrived in the USA since two thousand fifteen

C: My name's Pepito :-P and I immigrated from Colombia five years ago.

So why and how did you go to Usa ?

F: -I left my country because of political reasons and poverty.I took a boat from Europe.

J: -Economic reasons pushed me to leave my country. It was tough to survive.I spent all my money to buy my plane ticket.

C: -My family lives in Chicago for ten years but I wanted to stay in Colombia. Five years ago, I wanted to join them and find a good job to live the American dream.

Koffi, what's your situation today ?

First when I arrived, life was tough for me.I had to work illegaly. Now as I have the green card, I can work everywhere even though I'm still looking for a good job. I also found a really sweet apartment in Brooklyn.

Dimitrov, you're almost new in America, did you find a job here ?

Yes I did, though it's not the best employ I couldn't refuse. I work in a little coffee shop near Los Angeles.

People in America think immigrants live only on aids, Is this true ?

C: It’s a myth. We have to wait a couple years before getting aids that’s why Most immigrants don’t get welfare.

Do the population agree with your coming ?

F : It depends of people, when I lived in California  I wasn’t welcome, but today I think I’m integrated and now, I learn English.

Tell me what is your dream ?

C : I want to become an American citizen so I can vote for a president who will help immigrants to be integrated.

Do you want to return to Serbia ?

J : Yes I want to return to Serbia because my family misses me very much but I need to have enough money to have a decent life style.
