3rd October 1720 :

This day was a little bit special. I'm going to relate my day.

        We got married with James a week ago, and like every day since we married, I was walking on the harbour to welcome James from his trip.

        But a pirate that I didn't see arrived and talked to me. The pirate was as bald as he was tall. His clothes had bright colours and were from the finest fabrics. At his side he carried a sword and around his neck was a heavy gold neckless.

        He said "Hello" but I didn't have the time to answer so he knocked me out with a wooden stick.

        I woke up in a ship, I knew it because I saw a black flag with a skull and crossbones. I was confined in a cage. The lock was tighten with fragment of scrap iron. A slave brought me bread and water. Twenty minutes later, the same slave brought a bag. In this bag, there was James and the slave locked him up  too.

        Luckily, James always has the knife that I offered him. He opened the door with delicacy because we didn't want warn the pirates and we went into the room where the James' companions were locked up.The knots that tied James' friends didn't resist us. When they were freed, they went to fight  the pirates. The fight was bloody and diffcult but James and his friends won. We threw them overboard in the sea and we went back to our town.

        As we came near the harbour, we removed the black jack to not frighten the citizens. When we went down in the hold, we found three chests filled with gold coins. As we arrived in the harbour, we gave the coins to everybody and everyone cheered us.

After this tiring day, I went back, with James, in my home next to the see, the sun setting in front us.
