However, in a mass media society and where public policies concern precisely its average citizens, would they really be inattentive to politics?

Certainly, the upper-class has some advantages, she knows the springs of politics, her actions and can sometimes lead it.

But average citizens, although "less powerful";, are not innocent. Just look at the protests against certain laws, in particular the yellow vest movement, or the youth march for the climate with Greta Thunberg as a symbol of this march.

All this proves that the average citizen is not inattentive to politics and rebels if necessary.
