That’s all for my personal presentation

Let me now talk to you about my work placement.

Within the curriculum of my bachelor degree in marketing of a commercial unit.

I had to carry out one work placement and i ‘ve found my work placement by myself.

The company i worked for is called SAS Sophem and is located in Annecy le vieux.

I mainly worked in the Marketing Departement with 4 peoples. Its main competitors are place des tendances, monshowroom and Sarenza.

The company I worked for is specialized in the sales of ready-to-wear clothing on the website (jeans, tshirt, shoes).

I had varied tasks : I welcomed the customers, I was responsible for the customers and suppliers files, I registered data on the computer, I used a software specific to the company called MAGENTO, I called logistician and sent reminders, and I retouched photos resulting from the photographer with Photoshop.

I had good working conditions. I worked thirdy five hours a week and I have a good relationship with my boss and my colleagues who were always ready to help me whenever I needed it.

Now I will present to you a SWOT analysis :

For Opportunities

The growth of the market of e-commerce increased by a strong transformation of the uses of consumption and the development of active trade websites.

Online clothing purchases: a booming and high potential market.

The increase in the number of customers.

Level of confidence of users in buying over the internet which is progressing.

Access to the web in France in broadband from home is up sharply.

Extension of the internet access: before 2 years, half of the devices by which there will be access to internet will be mobile phone.

The opportunity to be with our customers 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

The ability to move from local to the national and the international.

Accessibility products by a rural clientele, having no possibility to go to a physical store. Sector of e-commerce was still an important growth of 15% in 2013 (two thousand and thirteen) Unlike physical trade hit by the decrease in consumption.

For the threats

Financial crisis, slight decline in sales growth.

Increase in the number of website in the textile industry (44700)

positioning cost which will not be discount to compare with the competitors.

investment in advertising and marketing

regulatory constraints (ex: loi chatel)
