Myths and heroes : How illustrate the American Dream has a Myth ?

1. Myths and heroes:

A myth can be defined as a story about gods or heroes, it can be a popular belief or a tradition or a false notion. A hero can be a mythological figure, a person who is admired for his or her achievements, a superhero or maybe a role model or an icon.

This story can be fictional or real.

My question thesis is : How illustrate the American Dream has a Myth ?

 To illustrate this notion, we are going to see if the American Dream is a ficticious or real myth.

 In a first part, we are going to speak about Mike Luchovich's and Margaret Regan's Documents.

In a second part, we are going to speak about the organization "campaign New Americans".

I. Mike Luchovich and Margaret Regan.

To start, the American Dream is a symbol of success. People throught their determination can become rich. This dream is also the equality between the different and various populations.

The Mike Luchovich's document is a black and white cartoon published in 2006 in the Atlanta Journal. We see on this cartoon then have a barrier between Mexico and USA. The statue of the liberty was made as a sign of welcome for immigrants coming from around the world. It deals with the Mexico-United States barrieralso known as the Border Fence and the US policy towards immigration.

The Death of Josseline of Margaret Regan speak about the immigration. A dream of a family latinos is going to USA. This family are illegal immigrants. The author may intend to (avoir l'intention de) show how hard it is for them to leave their country, she may want to change people's minds on immigration.

II. Campaign New Americans.

To continue we are speak of the advert called "Imigration makes america". This advertiser is an organisation called Campaign for new Americans. We see than this organisation agree the imigration for realize American Dream and the USA are a notion of families with seventy seven percents of legal immigrants, a nation of freedom and diversity with much nationality.

Conclusion.

To concludde, we can say the American Dream for many people stay a dream but some people become heroes and realize the dream. The American Dream is a real myth.
